KOBE BEEF IN SÀI GÒN..


Situated west of Osaka in Kaisan region along the coast of Japan, Kobe is a busy port and the capital of Hyogo Prefecture. Kobe is best known for its world famous beef.
Kobe cattle are bred in luxury. A typical Kobe cow matures between 500 and 600 days, with a permitted weight increase of no more than 0.8kg per day. The main fodder includes young corn, wheat, soybean and Japanese rice. The cattle also consume beer daily to help their appetite are bathed in warm water and even listen to classical music such as Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin.
The cattle get massaged with sake daily to enhance the marbling of the meat – a key characteristic of the distinguished Kobe Beef as softer, sweeter and succulent.
